Working at CHG

5 reasons Computerworld named CHG a best place to work in IT

For the fifth straight year, CHG was named on Computerworld’s Best Places to Work in IT list. This year, we ranked No. 7 in the midsize category. Computerworld determined rankings based on an employee survey and a questionnaire covering benefits, career development training and retention.

Here are five reasons our IT team thinks CHG is a great place to work:

1. The people
“I’m truly blessed to work with a group of individuals who have integrity and really care about the quality they produce and send to the business,” says Tiffany Kunz, business systems analyst. “It’s an added bonus that I consider them friends.”

2. Leadership
“What really drew me to CHG is the leaders. My leaders have always been personable and actually care about my overall wellbeing,” shares Ben Clark, IT security analyst.

3. Putting People First
“At the end of the day, if you are going through something difficult, you know people have your back,” says Trevor Nielson, IT development manager. “Even when we go through difficult challenges, no matter how hard it gets, people really come first.”

4. Work/Life Balance
“It’s fantastic to have the kind of scheduling flexibility that allows me to work and achieve my goals, and still be able to attend my kids’ school events or spend time with my family,” Kunz says.

5. Employee Network Groups
“I’m the president of the photography Employee Network Group,” Nielson adds. “It’s great that CHG embraces what I’m interested in by providing funding and availability of people to explore hobbies and things that I’m personally interested in.”
