Putting People First isn’t just a core value that we hang on the wall, it’s who we are as a company and a way of life for our leaders and our people. Over the past decade, we have expanded our people-first efforts to include the communities where we live and serve and have created a variety of programs that empower our people to give back.
One of these programs is our annual Making a Difference Week, which gives employees in all our offices the opportunity to participate in fun activities to raise money for the United Way and other charities. Some of the week’s activities include a pizza-eating contest, Hot Wheels races, lip-sync battles, puppy snuggles, and live auctions. This year, our Salt Lake City office alone raised more than $225,000.

Day of Caring
In addition to Making a Difference Week, we also support the United Way by volunteering at the organization’s annual Day of Caring.
This year, 50 CHG employees worked on two projects. The group at Copperview Elementary made improvements to the school grounds and helped in the classrooms. The other group deep cleaned and did repairs at The Family Support Center — an organization that provides free, quality childcare to parents in need.
Both of these projects gave us the opportunity to make an impact in Midvale, Utah, where our new headquarters is located.
Watch the video below to see how our people made a difference during this event.
