In early June, RNnetwork consultants and managers took the afternoon off — and headed to Florence Fuller Child Development Center, a nonprofit in Boca Raton, Fla., that offers affordable childcare and education for underprivileged kids.
“This volunteer opportunity allowed us to connect and give back to our community,” says Melody Harkness, director of client services at RNnetwork. “The kids were wonderful and the teachers were so grateful for the help.”
Our team of 20 spent the afternoon with the Florence Fuller children, reading, coloring, dancing, throwing Frisbee and playing games. But the kids weren’t the only ones who were positively impacted.
“The experience was so rewarding and fulfilling,” Melody shares.
