Making a Difference

CHG introduces the Making a Difference Foundation

Supporting charities that align with our values is an important part of CHG’s purpose of making a difference in the lives of those we serve — our people, our providers, our clients, and our communities. To help accomplish this, CHG created the Making a Difference Foundation.

The foundation offers two types of grants — local and strategic.

Local grants are designed to support causes and nonprofit organizations that CHG’s employees are passionate about and actively involved in.  These grants are intended to be inclusive and cover a wide variety of causes like health, education, food, shelter, safety, water, animals, arts, environment, or workplace culture.

Strategic grants are designed to make a meaningful impact in underserved communities by providing grants that support the delivery of healthcare and healthcare education on a local, national, and international level.

Recently, the foundation issued a grant that gave three CompHealth physicians the opportunity to join CHG’s six Difference Maker Award winners on a humanitarian trip to Kenya. While there, the physicians provided much-needed healthcare to the local villagers.
